OldMilk Spins Playlist (10.20.22)

With Lil Baby releasing his new record, It’s Only Me, I’ve decided to make a playlist revolving around my favorite tracks from my favorite Atlanta artists. I could go on for hours listing my favorite Atlanta trap songs but for the sake of my time and yours, I chose to add the first twelve Atlanta trap songs that came to me. Throughout this playlist, there’s music from Lil Baby, the Migos, 21 Savage, Future, Young Thug, Metro Boomin, and more! Tune in and enjoy!

OldMilk Spins Playlist (9.29.22)

The past week in Hip-Hop music has supplied enough boredom to cure insomnia. With that being said, I’ve been listening to many of my favorite songs from last year, so this week’s playlist is compiled of tracks that qualify. Throughout this week’s playlist, there is music from Tyler, The Creator, Young Thug, NBA Youngboy, Drake, and more. Tune in and enjoy!

OldMilk Spins Playlist (9.15.22)

NAV and Ari Lennox dropped albums last week that have a refreshing mild throwback feeling. Because of the great music these two artists released, I’ve included plenty of songs from their new albums as well as music from Lil Uzi Vert, EST Gee, Roddy Ricch, Willow, and more! Tune in and enjoy!

OldMilk Spins Playlist (7.7.22)

With the annual XXL Freshman list being released this week, this playlist is centered around the 2022 Freshmen. There’s music from BIG30, Nardo Wick, BabyTron, Doechii, Saucy Santana, SoFayGo, and more in this week’s playlist! Tune in & enjoy!

OldMilk Spins Playlist (5.12.22)

With this week being slow in regard to quality music, this playlist is compiled of tracks that I’ve found myself listening to over the past week. I’ve rediscovered some of my favorite tracks from years ago, listened to some new music, and of course listened to ‘The Heart Part 5’ by Kendrick Lamar. There’s music from Kendrick Lamar, Saba, Nas, Dreamville, Vince Staples, Playboi Carti, 21 Savage, Metro Boomin, Tee Grizzley, and more! Tune in and enjoy!

OldMilk Spins Playlist (5.5.22)

o With one of the best rappers of my lifetime, Future releasing his newest album I NEVER LIKED YOU, I think it’s appropriate to make a playlist of my favorite Future tracks. So, this is what this week’s playlist is, a compilation of my favorite Future tracks from over the years. I had to make some hard decisions to narrow this week’s playlist down to 16 tracks, but I’m happy with the decisions I’ve made and I hope you will be too. Making cameos on this playlist along with Future are Kanye West, Drake, Tems, Gunna, Young Thug, DJ Esco, Lil Uzi Vert, and Juice WRLD! Tune in and enjoy!

OldMilk Spins Playlist (12.16.21)

This edition of the OldMilk Spins Playlist serves to honor the legacy of Juice WRLD. Juice was one of my favorite artists because of his melodies, rapping ability, beat selection, lyrical content, and his potential. Juice WRLD had a talent for making music with lyrics that you could relate to when you were feeling down and melodies you can marvel at when you were doing fine. The versatile talent that is Juice WRLD comes around only a handful of times throughout a generation and to say Hip-Hop lost one of its brightest stars in 2019 would be an understatement. So with this playlist I decided to choose some of my favorite tracks from each of Juice WRLD’s albums and I threw in my favorite single, ‘Rich and Blind’ along with my favorite Juice WRLD feature on Ski Mask The Slump God’s ‘Nuketown.’ I hope you enjoy it!

OldMilk Spins Playlist (12.9.21)

The past week was supersaturated with new music, making this playlist one of the toughest to compile. We got new projects from Polo G, Tierra Whack, Cozz, Nardo Wick, EST Gee, and Lil Peep. I almost extended the playlist to twenty tracks, but I was eventually able to narrow it down to sixteen. ‘Unapologetic’ by Polo G featuring NLE Choppa has been stuck in my head ever since I heard it so it’s only right to start the playlist off with that song. Anyway, there’s new music in this playlist from the artists I’ve mentioned in addition to Pi’erre Bourne & Tm88, Juice WRLD, and more. I hope you enjoy it!

OldMilk Spins Playlist (12.2.21)

After no update last week because of Thanksgiving, I found myself digesting my turkey and some new music from the past two weeks. I didn’t go into this week’s playlist with a theme in mind, however as I started compiling my favorite tracks from the past two weeks, the playlist fell into a theme of Street Blues. With tracks featuring artists like Yungeen Ace, Nuski2Squad, Youngboy Never Broke Again, Morray, Lil Baby, Rod Wave, and more you will definitely find some new melodic rap tracks to add to your collection. I hope you enjoy this week’s playlist.

OldMilk Spins Playlist (11.11.21)

It’s been a slow week regarding Hip-Hop music, so that gives us the ability to branch out and explore some music outside of the typical Hip-Hop box. The playlist for the week of November 11th does just that with music from The Anxiety, Silk Sonic, Summer Walker, Terrace Martin, and more! Of course, it wouldn’t be an OldMilk playlist without some actual Hip-Hop music so those tracks that prove to be more traditionally Hip-Hop can be found at the end of the playlist. I hope you enjoy this week’s playlist!

OldMilk Spins Playlist (10.28.21)

This playlist for the week of October 28th is centered around Young Thug’s Punk. On Episode 223 of The Cap Podcast, I joked that Young Thug should’ve named this album Folk instead because its gentle nature mirrored the Folk genre as opposed to the Punk genre’s rowdy nature. Regardless, Young Thug’s latest album is a top three album of the year for me, inspiring me to create this playlist!
